Prayer Shawl Ministry

As part of an international ministry, this group knits and crochets prayer shawls while praying individually and as a group for the recipient of each shawl.  These shawls represent a visible symbol of our prayers.  Shawls have been given to those facing challenging times, illness, mourning or to celebrate a special moment to bring the comfort and warmth of God’s love and healing..  There is no charge for the shawl.  They are given as a gift of love and prayers.  Meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Gathering Room.  To join this ministry or receive a prayer shawl, call Jane Kucera at 579-1785 or Shirley Czarnik at 485-2612.
